RBMA Foundation for Education and Research Raises over $84K in 3 Weeks, Shatters Goal

In September 2019, the RBMA Board of Directors officially established the RBMA Foundation for Education and Research and set a lofty goal of raising $100,000 in the Foundations first year.

Thanks largely to RBMA’s inaugural Founders’ Day, held last Friday, Aug. 21, that goal has been shattered. Founders’ Day was a free day of education for RBMA members and non-members, requesting only that those with the means to do so, donate to the Foundation. As part of Founders’ Day, Data Media Associates, LLC generously issued a challenge donation, agreeing to a dollar-for-dollar match for all donations up to $50,000.

The results – a final total of $104,625! We met our goal, but the work of the foundation is just beginning. Fundraising is ongoing – if you didn’t have the chance to donate ahead of Founders’ Day, please do so today at www.rbma.org/donate
