💜 REACH Tuesday | REACH for Connection

Sometimes, reaching forward means reaching out.
For someone facing sarcoma, connection can take many forms—a healthcare team you trust, a family member or friend who listens, someone who understands the experience, a congregation or a community that offers encouragement and support.
No one should feel like they have to navigate the journey alone.
Whether you are a patient, caregiver, family member or friend, connection matters. It can provide encouragement, create a sense of belonging and remind us that there are people walking alongside us.
Today, we encourage you to REACH for connection. REACH for support. REACH forward. 💜

Monday Motivation 💜

Whatever you’re facing as you step into this new week—an unexpected diagnosis, unsettling news, or simply an uncertain path—remember: you do not have to face it alone.

Be strong. Be courageous. Keep moving forward, even when the road ahead feels uncertain. God is with you wherever you go. 🙏🏽

Let this be your reminder today: you are equipped, you are covered, and you can keep going.

💜 Feature Friday | Janine Gilbert Carter

We are excited to welcome back Janine Gilbert Carter to the 2026 Sarcoma REACH Annual Fundraising Gala for another appearance!

Janine’s connection to Sarcoma REACH began in 2015, when she performed at our first Sarcoma Benefit Dinner and Concert. What began as a musical performance became a deeper connection to our mission and the importance of bringing greater awareness to sarcoma and the challenges faced by those affected by this rare cancer.

This year, Janine returns to once again share her incredible gift of music as we come together for an evening of hope, healing and restoration.🎶💜

Join us on December 20, 2026, and experience Janine’s performance and an unforgettable evening in support of the fight against sarcoma.

Can’t attend? You can still make a difference.Consider making a contribution to support Sarcoma REACH and our commitment to research, education, access, cure and hope.

💜 REACH Tuesday | REACH for Questions

A cancer diagnosis can bring a lot of uncertainty. One way to begin finding clarity is to ask questions.

Questions can help us better understand a diagnosis, learn about treatment options, explore available resources and prepare for conversations with the healthcare team.

You don’t have to know all the answers. Start with a question.

REACH for knowledge.
REACH for understanding.
REACH forward. 💜

✨ Motivation Monday ✨
A new week is a new opportunity to choose our focus, shift our perspective, and make room for hope—even while living with sarcoma cancer or other life challenges.

The thoughts we carry into Monday can influence how we approach the days ahead. We may not be able to control everything that happens this week, but we can choose to begin with gratitude, hope, and intention.

Take a moment this morning to set your mind on what is good, what is possible, and what you are grateful for. 💜

Set the tone. Choose hope. Embrace the week ahead.

What are you choosing to focus on this week?

9/25/26: Feature Friday with Director Veronica Jackson of the Alexandria City High School Orchestra

🎶 Music has always played an important role in our work with sarcoma cancer. That’s one of the reasons we are honored to welcome amazing vocalists and musicians to the Sarcoma REACH Annual Fundraising Gala each year.

We are looking forward to the return of the Alexandria City High School Orchestra, under the direction of violinist Veronica Jackson.

Celebrating their 4th year with us, their return to the 2026 gala will mark another special milestone in a partnership that brings the beauty and power of music to an evening dedicated to hope, healing and restoration.

We are grateful to Veronica Jackson and these talented young musicians for continuing to share their gifts with us and helping make the Sarcoma REACH Annual Fundraising Gala an unforgettable evening. 🎻💜
