Over the course of three incredible days, May 10-12th, our riders, support staff, motors, medics, mechanics, and volunteers traveled mile after mile with one purpose in mind, honoring the memory of our fallen law enforcement officers and ensuring their sacrifice is never forgotten.
Day one welcomed us with perfect weather and smooth miles as our team settled into the ride together. The energy, camaraderie, and spirit of the chapter were evident from the very beginning. What many called a “100-mile warm up” prepared us for the challenges ahead and reminded us why this experience is so meaningful.
Day two tested us. The cold weather, wind, and long climbs pushed everyone physically and mentally. But through every difficult mile, our team continued forward together. No one quit. No one fell behind. Every rider pushed through the adversity with determination, knowing the mission was bigger than ourselves.
By the final day, the clouds broke and gave us a ride into Washington, DC that none of us will ever forget. From the incredible es**rt through historic Civil War battlefields, to seeing the Fairfax County helicopter overhead, to crossing the bridge with the DC memorials in view, every moment served as a reminder of why we ride.
The journey culminated with the emotional ride through the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, where thousands gathered in remembrance of the heroes who gave their lives in the line of duty.
This ride is more than cycling. It is family. It is sacrifice. It is remembrance. It is unity.
To everyone who supported Chapter IV, whether by donating, cheering from the roadside, assisting our team, or simply following our journey, thank you. Your support helps us continue this mission year after year.
We are already looking ahead to 2027 and continuing to grow our Police Unity Tour family. If you have ever considered joining us, we encourage you to reach out and become part of something truly special.
We ride for those who died. 🇺🇸🚴♂️💙
