Celena began her journey with BVCA as a Family Advocate in our Children’s Services Department. When the Family Development Coordinator position for Gage County became available, Celena applied and got the job. She has been our coordinator there for the past four years, and we are so grateful to have her on our team.
Celena is incredibly organized, and her center runs very smoothly. She is always willing to help wherever she is needed. Whether it’s delivering boxes for Commodities, filling in at our Jefferson Center one day a week, or stepping up to help with whatever comes her way, Celena is always willing to say yes. We are very thankful for her willingness to help and her commitment to BVCA.
Early in her time as a coordinator, Celena attended a homeless symposium—one of her first weeks on the job. After surviving that van trip, we knew she was going to be just fine as a coordinator and that she could definitely hold her own!
And, of course, Celena is also the person to go to if you ever need to know what to order at 7 Brew!
But seriously, Celena, thank you for all that you do for BVCA, for the families you serve, and for your coworkers. Congratulations on five years with BVCA! We are so glad you’re part of our team and look forward to many more years of working together.
