A HUGE THANK YOU from the Fairbury Fair! ❤️🎡
What a week. What a celebration. And what an incredible way to celebrate 150 years of the Fairbury Fair!
There are so many people to thank that we could never possibly name them all.
First and foremost, THANK YOU to our volunteers. We had an incredible number of people step up to help this year. As an all-volunteer Fair Board, there is simply no way we could put on an event of this size without people willing to give their time, their talents, and in many cases, some very long days and late nights. There is no way we can ever repay you for everything you did — but please know how much it was appreciated.
To everyone who bought a ticket and walked through our gates — THANK YOU. Whether you came for a livestock show, a grandstand event, the midway, the food, the exhibits, the museum, Floral Hall, a cold drink and some music in the b**r tent, or simply to spend an evening at the Fair with family and friends — you are the reason we are able to keep doing this.
We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to our marketing partners and sponsors. Year after year, you put your trust in us with your generous support. We take those dollars and do our very best to invest them back into attractions, entertainment and improvements that make the Fairbury Fair better for everyone.
This year, you stepped up in a BIG way — and together, we threw one heck of a 150th birthday party!
From the livestock barns to the grandstands, from Floral Hall and the Museum to the midway and b**r tent, there was something special happening all across the fairgrounds. The grounds looked beautiful, the food was great, the livestock shows were outstanding, the entertainment was fantastic, and somehow Mother Nature even decided to cooperate with us almost the entire week!
But the best part of all was seeing so many people on the Fairgrounds enjoying it.
For 150 years, generations of people have worked, volunteered, exhibited, sponsored, attended and supported the Fairbury Fair. We were fortunate enough to be the group entrusted with celebrating that incredible milestone in 2026, and it is a week we will never forget.
To everyone who played even a small part in making the 150th Fairbury Fair a success — THANK YOU!
