There will be a parent/community 8 man football discussion Saturday night 11/22/25 in the BFAC at 5:00 pm and Mr Smith (Fairbury's AD) asked everyone who is involved with football to be there. If you can attend please do. I'm not exactly sure of everything that will be discussed but he did label it as an eight-man football discussion.

FYTF has started a new tradition this year of allowing the outgoing 6th graders the option to buy their jerseys. For $85 you can own a piece of priceless FYTF history. Show your kids, show your grand kids, or sell it on eBay for a million dollars when you get inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. Contact a board member to take advantage of this amazing opportunity! I would like to get the order in before Christmas.

Today we celebrated our Fairbury Youth Tackle Football Banquet! 🏈❤️💛

What an incredible season it’s been! We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who makes this program possible.

💪 Brad Kuzelka – thank you for all you do behind the scenes, always being there for the program and even picking up trash after every practice. Your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed!

🍔 Rhonda Kuzelka – thank you for heading up our concession stand. It’s not required, but it’s such a special addition to our game days and brings so much to the experience!

🙌 To all our amazing volunteers – this program truly couldn’t survive without you. A special shoutout to those who go above and beyond by filling multiple spots on game days: the Petersen’s, Kimberlin’s, Lopez’s, Jacobi's and Hinman’s. You’re incredible!

🏈 To our coaches – Mark Wiedergreen, Brandon Bleich, Mike Orf, Gary Alsman, and Josh Jacobi– thank you for everything you do for our athletes. You show up to every practice and game after long days at work, and you give so much of your time both on and off the field. You not only coach, but you teach, correct, encourage, and lead by example. Your dedication is inspiring!

This Sunday the 26 of October at 12 noon will be equipment check in/banquet at the HS Commons. We're having pizza and will provide drinks. We will have a short meeting and we will send our 6th graders off to Jr.High School football with something special. Please please attend and bring all your equipment back so we can get your deposit back to you. I don't want to string check in out for months so if you can't attend please get with a board member to turn the equipment in ASAP. See you sunday!

🏈 Game Day Recap – Fairbury Youth Tackle Football vs Freeman (9/28/25) 5th and 6th Grade Game part 2🏈

What an incredible Sunday of football! Our Fairbury Youth Tackle players took the field against Freeman and gave it everything they had. 💪 The effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship on display made us so proud of this group!

From the first whistle to the final play, our athletes showed grit, determination, and heart. Whether it was big tackles, strong blocks, or powerful runs down the field — every player contributed to an exciting match-up!

A huge THANK YOU to our coaches, volunteers, and families who continue to make game days possible. Your support means the world to our players and program. ❤️
