Did you know your child can receive Bible education during school hours? Enrollment is now open for all 2nd–8th grade students in the Prairie Central School District!

Students attend one class each week during the school day. Every lesson includes an engaging Bible story, fun activities, and points students to the bigger picture of the gospel while teaching character traits they can live out at school and at home.

Program details:
✨ Classes begin September 8 and run through May
✨ One class each week during the school day
✨ No core academic instruction is missed

Class times:
📖 PCE: During 30 minutes of Character (SEL) class, plus the last 10 minutes of recess
🍽 PCUE: During lunch (students bring their school lunch to class)
🍕🍔 PCJH: During lunch (lunch is provided by Casey's, Coffee Steamer, and Dave's)

LifeWise volunteers es**rt students to and from class:
🚌 PCE: Across the street at the 4-H Building or inside the FALS Office on the fairgrounds
⛪ PCUE: Across the street at the Methodist Church
✨ PCJH: Across the parking lot to the LifeWise Building

LifeWise Summit 2026! Over 1100 teachers, directors, and staff from across the nation together for inspiration, equipping, fellowship, and fun! We heard a powerful message backed by statistics from George Barna, multiple other speakers including Joel Penton (the LifeWise founder), and heard how LifeWise hit 1,000 schools! Praise God, for His word keeps spreading and changing lives!

Students made up this song for their teacher on the last day of LifeWise 😍 Exciting news! This fall, LifeWise will be driving all 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade classes. The bus ride will become part of the experience—with fun Bible songs, lesson reviews, and a safe, comfortable ride for every student.

To help make this possible, we’re adding another activity bus with a wheelchair lift so every child can attend. Even better, thanks to the doTERRA Healing Hands Match Program, every donation will be matched 100% up to $10,000 through July 31!

We finished our last week of LifeWise for this year! Our teachers celebrated a great year with games, fun, and food! We prayed one last time to thank God and ask blessings over everyone. Have a great summer and we will see you next fall!

This week at LifeWise, our 2nd grade lesson was on the parable of the good Samaritan from the gospel of Luke. The students learned that Jesus wants us to love our neighbors. He wants us to be good Samaritans like the man in the story and help others. We discussed people in our community that help others. We decided to thank our firefighters for being good Samaritans. The students filled bags with candy items which represented qualities of a fireman. They also drew pictures on their bags. Three of our firefighters came to accept their appreciation bags. The second graders are going to try to be good Samaritans in our community.

Our Easter video may be a little delayed—but it’s never too late to celebrate what matters most!

This year during classes leading up to the Passion of Christ, Romans 10:9 was a key verse and a “lightbulb moment” for students. We made sure to include the “Criminal 2” in the video!

We’re grateful for all that went into this and excited to finally share it with you.
