Higher Service: Kid Cornrows + Knotless Braids

Haircare is a basic need, not a luxury. We offer pay-what-you-can haircare to Georgia K-12 students to promote educational equity and confidence in the classroom. Drop some blue hearts 💙 in the comments to show her some Higher Love!

Help us continue our work as Georgia’s charitable hair salon by doing one or more of the following things:

1️⃣ Become a Higher Client
Apply to become a Higher Client to receive pay-what-you-can haircare. For our pilot, we are only serving female K-12 students who attend a Georgia school. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, you can schedule your hair appointment when our Higher Books open each month. Appointments are first-come, first-served. Our primary location is 📍 ATL. Appointments may be offered at our primary location or at our partner salons across the state of Georgia.

2️⃣ Become a Higher Stylist
Sign up to volunteer as a licensed hair stylist or a professional braider. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, we’ll request your availability for our Higher Books up to 6 weeks in advance. You must serve our clients in a Georgia salon that you work at or own. Home-based salons are not allowed.

3️⃣ Become a Higher Supporter
When our Higher Supporters give higher, then our Higher Clients can go higher. Thank you for supporting our organization with a monetary gift. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Pamela Seldon-Crowell was a single mom to two little girls, including Mallorye Crowell, and she is also a cosmetology school graduate. She has the skill and heart to serve our Higher Clients well!
