Fairborn TNR Rescue would like to thank all the wonderful people from the community. We have been truly blessed with all the love and well wishes. All the support you all have shown Doug and Karen Hamilton. Doug was in a tragic accident yesterday. He was struck by a car while taking a run after he left the rescue. The family is devastated we are too. Doug and Karen volunteers for many parks and bike trails at John John Bryant parks They do a lot of the trails upkeep. They volunteer at Fairborn Trap-Neuter-Release 30 to 40 hours a week. They give everything to their community and ask nothing in return. Doug has lost the fight . He is an organ donor. They are keeping him alive till they can get together and remove organs for transplant. Even in death he still is giving. Doug and Karen is 2 of the most amazing people I know. Thank you everyone. The biggest struggle right now for Karen is paying off the medical bills and funeral expenses for they had no insurance . I am so proud of our community for the compassion and love they have shown all of us. If you find it in your heart and would like to help the family out.
