Volleyball Team, Dayton Juniors 14 Black recently participated in a team bonding experience at Build-A-Bear, where they created bears for the kiddos at Michael’s House. The team had a ton of fun spreading kindness and sharing extra love with the children who need it most.
We are so proud to see our community of young people coming together to show such compassion. Their teamwork goes far beyond the volleyball court.
Thank you Dayton Juniors 14 Black for your thoughtfulness and generosity. The Michael’s House Team can’t wait to see all of the smiles these bears will bring.
An extra special thank you to Elizabeth Cusack for coming to Michael’s House not only with the bears but for helping gather signs and pinwheels from other community partners! You are a ⭐️!

Thank you to the ladies of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, as well as Pastor Witte, for the beautiful quilts made for the children at Michael’s House. The hard work, care, and love put into each quilt does not go unnoticed. The kiddos coming into Michael’s House truly appreciate the comfort and security these quilts bring.
The Michael’s House Team is honored to have such wonderful friends and partners in our community. Thank you for your kindness and continued support of the children and families we serve! 💙

The biggest thank you to Mayor Don Adams for his incredible support of our First Thursday Event and for giving Michael’s House the opportunity to share our mission with the Greene County Community.
The Michael’s House Team is truly proud of the amazing turnout and the strong support from our partners. We hope we were able to highlight just how important the work of our multidisciplinary team is and the impact it has on the children and families we serve.

A recent article in the Dayton Daily News talks about our dedicated sensory room, a safe place for children to navigate difficult experiences. We are eternally grateful to the Greene County Board of Commissioners for making this space a reality. This room provides a calming, therapeutic environment where children can feel at ease after discussing difficult emotions or preparing forensic interviews.

Michael’s House Child Advocacy Center has recently completed renovations to its Fairborn center, aimed at better caring for children who have been victims of violent crimes.
