FROM THE HEART OF THE USVMC OHIO STATE CHAPTER; WE THANK YOU!

There are some weekends you attend. Then there are weekends you carry with you long after the motorcycles are parked, the music stops, the flags are folded, and everyone has made the ride home. VetFest Ohio 2026 was one of those weekends!

To every Brother, Sister, Veteran, family member, motorcycle club, rider, friend, supporter, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and member of our community who showed up, rode with us, bought a ticket or shirt, made a donation, placed a bid, shared a meal, raised a glass, or simply stood beside us... THANK YOU!

Some traveled hundreds of miles. Others came from right down the road. Some stayed all weekend; others could only give us a few hours. Every one of you mattered! VetFest Ohio was never about how many motorcycles we could put on the road or how many people we could fit into a building. It was about why we came together. We came together to remember. To honor. To strengthen the bond between Veterans, motorcycle clubs, families, businesses, and our communities. Most importantly, we came together to make a difference for local Veterans and celebrate the 250 Years of Freedom we all enjoy.

VetFest Ohio doesn't happen because of a flyer. It happens because people say, "I'll help," and then they show up. To everyone who purchased a VetFest Ohio shirt, participated in our auctions and raffles, donated, shared our flyers and posts, promoted the event, invited friends, or supported us from afar... You were part of VetFest Ohio too. Maybe you won something. Maybe you didn't. But Veterans won because you participated.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended. Without you, there is no VetFest Ohio. No motorcycles rolling together. No packed room singing along. No riders honoring a Fallen Soldier. No quiet moment during Taps. No laughter all weekend. No new friendships. No old friendships strengthened. No money raised to help Veterans. There would simply be an empty parking lot and a good idea. YOU turned that idea into VetFest Ohio 2026.

From all of us at the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club (Ohio State Chapter), please know how deeply grateful we are. We hope you arrived as a guest and left feeling like family. We hope you laughed. We hope you remembered someone. We hope you made a new friend. And somewhere during the weekend, we hope you looked around at the Veterans, bikers, families, flags, motorcycles, music, handshakes, and hugs and thought: This is what community is supposed to feel like.

We're blessed to receive another donation from the USVMC in Fairborn. All donations go to program expenses to serve mentally wounded warriors. Susan and I don't get paid; we get more than we give, something money can't buy. God bless us all everyone 🙏❤️🐴

The countdown is on! Only a few more days until the biggest, most awesome Vetfest weekend we've ever planned begins! We're in high gear getting everything ready for what will surely be the most memorable Vetfest weekend ever! None of this would be possible if it wasn't for the unmatched support from Spirits Tavern, the Milton Athletic Club who are cohosting the events on Friday and Saturday, we can't say enough about how amazing they've been! We can't wait to hear Britches Down and Ithika, two of the biggest bands in the area, rocking the house each night! Late this evening (Wednesday the 19th), Elmo will be hosting a Facebook live session to go over last minute details and we'd love to answer any questions that you all may have. So, please leave any questions that you might have in the comments section and we'll try to address them during the live late today. Thank again to all of you who have supported us over the years!

🇺🇸 LET’S CELEBRATE 250 YEARS OF FREEDOM WITH A ROAR! 🇺🇸

VetFest Ohio 2026 rolls into town August 21-22, bringing together Veterans, riders, families, and supporters for two days of motorcycles, music, food, fellowship and purpose.

We’ll welcome everyone and fire up Friday night at the Milton Club with Dayton’s Best … Britches Down! During intermission, we’ll auction a one-of-one patriotic guitar valued at $5,000. Bidding starts at just $1, and there is NO RESERVE. Highest bid takes it home!

Saturday morning, we ride in our 14th Annual Fallen Hero Poker Run honoring Fallen Fairborn Hero Jesse Snow. After registration, the route includes stops at Troy VFW, Beavercreek VFW, and Enon VFW, where Team Fastrax will bring in the American flag at 4:22 p.m., followed by a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps by the Beavercreek VFW Honor Guard.

We’ll finish at Spirits Tavern in Fairborn with a block party featuring vendors, live music from another Dayton powerhouse ITHIKA, food trucks, raffles, auctions, and a one-of-one commemorative painting auction at 5:30 p.m. Bidding starts at just $1, and there is NO RESERVE. Limited VetFest Ohio gear and 50/50 tickets will be available throughout the weekend. Also:

• Door prizes available at every Poker Run Stop

VetFest Ohio is bigger than a party. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we gather to remember our fallen, honor those who served, and raise money for local Veteran initiatives.
