“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
— John 15:13

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. Their sacrifice was not just for a nation, but for the people they loved beside them and the generations they would never meet.

Today we remember the fallen. We honor their courage. And we carry their legacy forward with gratitude and respect.

From all of us at the Ohio State Chapter of the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club, You will Never Be Forgotten! Forever honored.

Huge shoutout to Hillbilly Custom Cycles for absolutely coming through for our members when we needed it most. What could’ve turned into a long night stranded on the side of the road became a quick save thanks to your willingness to jump into action without hesitation.

Blown front tire, far from home, after hours — and your team still made it happen fast and got our brothers safely back on the road. That kind of service, professionalism, and support for the riding community says a lot about who you are.

We sincerely appreciate everything you did for the U.S. Veterans MC Ohio State Chapter. We highly recommend Hillbilly Custom Cycles to anyone looking for a great business who genuinely takes care of their customers! Thank you!!

Honor. Respect. Never Forgotten. 🇺🇸

On a crisp 33° Sunday morning, March 29, 2026, seven members of the US Veterans MC Ohio State Chapter rolled out early with a solemn mission to honor and welcome home three fallen warriors of the Ohio Air National Guard who paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.

The dignified transfer took place at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base, where the remains of Capt. Seth Koval, Capt. Curtis Angst, and TSgt Tyler Simmons arrived home to Ohio after being killed on March 12 during a refueling aircraft crash over western Iraq in support of Operation EPIC FURY.

Assigned to the 121st Air Refueling Wing, these Airmen were among six service members lost in the tragedy, serving their nation in combat operations overseas.

Hundreds of motorcycles staged just outside the base gate as es**rt routes were formed to carry these heroes home to their families. The Ohio State Chapter proudly supported both the Wilmington and Columbus routes.

For Capt. Angst, the journey to his hometown of Wilmington, Ohio spanned 68 miles through city streets, along Interstate 71, and into a community that stood united in grief and gratitude. Law enforcement, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol, secured every intersection and on-ramp, effectively shutting down I-71 South to ensure a safe and uninterrupted procession of more than 100 motorcycles and vehicles.

What we saw and felt along that route left a lasting impression on every one of us.

Citizens lined the streets of Columbus and Wilmington, waving flags, saluting, and standing in silent respect. Fire departments positioned trucks on overpasses, with firefighters standing at attention beneath unfurled American flags. Communities across Central Ohio came together in both grief and gratitude, honoring these fallen Airmen as they made their final journey home.

Every mile was marked by honor. Every moment carried meaning.

The procession concluded as we stood witness to the final act of dignity, es**rting this fallen hero into the funeral home, surrounded by those who will never forget his sacrifice.

It was an honor, one we do not take lightly to welcome these heroes home. They gave everything in service to this nation, and yesterday, Ohio stood still to receive them.

The support we witnessed was humbling. The respect for our fallen was unwavering, and our commitment to veterans, their families, and to our communities was strengthened even further. We ask that all of you continue to pray and support those who are still in harm's way.

As a member of the Ohio State Coalition of Clubs affiliated with the National Council of Clubs, we want to be very clear with our supporters, friends, and the greater motorcycle community.

We are appalled and disgusted by what was recently published by Easyriders Magazine and BikerNet. Any content that in any way glorifies, exploits, or minimizes abuse against a minor is completely unacceptable. There is no justification for it, ever.

We fully stand behind and support the statement released by the National Council of Clubs. Pe******ia and crimes against children are morally reprehensible, dishonorable, and have no place in our community or anywhere in society.

The motorcycle community has always been built on brotherhood, respect, accountability, and protecting those who cannot protect themselves. What was published goes against every value we stand for as veterans, bikers, and men and women of character.

We join thousands across the country in condemning these actions and rejecting any attempt to excuse, downplay, or deflect from the seriousness of this issue.

Our chapter remains committed to integrity, responsibility, and standing up for what is right, especially when it matters most.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and our values!
