May 8th marks the 81st anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day, commemorating the unconditional surrender of N**i Germany and the end of World War II in Europe. The day is observed across the European continent and in the United States, honoring the sacrifices made during the war and celebrating the restoration of peace.
