Alaska Peace Center's booth in the Borealis Pavilion next to the Blue Gate (north) end of the Fair's main parking lot is staffed by volunteers. We have been told that the $3 parking fee applies after 3pm Th, F, Sat.

The TANANA VALLEY STATE FAIR is almost here, and we're looking for volunteers to help staff the Alaska Peace Center booth! The fair runs 12-10pm Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 9, and we'd love to have you join us for one or more 3-4-hr shifts.

All volunteers get a free day pass to the Fair for the day(s) they volunteer. Naturally, you can walk around and see the rest of the Fair before or after your shift!

One of the wonderful things about staffing the booth is the opportunity to connect with people about the many ways we can all work toward peace.
