Golden Heart Parking Service is looking for a full-time ticket writer Monday- Friday 9am-6pm.
Must be available 24/7 for on call duties. Applicant must be able to perform light lifting, cleaning, and be able to monitor the facility. Must be able to walk approximately 12 miles per day. Ticket writer must be self- motivator with great communication skills. Must be able to work fast as well as efficient. Must be a fast learner. Must be tech savvy with cellphone.
Responsibilities:
*Arrive on time and complete every shift
*Knowledge of access control system (training provided)
*General parking equipment repair or maintenance (training provided)
*Must be able to be outside year round for 8 hours per day
*Must be able to report all problems to the Director or Assistant Manager
*Complete all shift paperwork
*Issue tickets
*Learn the Fairbanks City Code of Ordinances
*Shovel snow away from access points during the winter months
*Issue new key cards or replacement key cards for customers
*Learn parking system
*Must be able to handle unforeseen circumstances
Qualifications:
*Must be at least 18 years of age
*Must meet company expectations regarding pre-employment drug testing and background check
*Must have reliable transportation
*Ability to read, comprehend, communicate, and write effectively
*ability to assertively address issues as needed
*Must be able to work under pressure, extreme weather conditions, stress
Applications can be picked up at 201 Lacey St Fairbanks, Alaska 99701. Office is located on the 1st floor of the Parking Garage Downtown. We will be having on the spot interviews November 1st- November 2nd between the hours of 10:00am-2:00pm.
