Whoops! We're a day late with this latest "Where Are They Now" spotlight. Sorry, folks! But this good boy is worth the wait. Say hello to Bode (fka Dell) who came to GRRF with his siblings from the Flower Litter last year.

According to Bode's human, this guy grew up to be quite the entertainer. He loves his toys, but loves attention even more. And who can blame him?!

Today’s “Where Are They Now” spotlight features Greta (fka: Smiley Miley).

Greta was adopted back in 2021 and has since become the center of her family’s life (as it should be, Greta. As it should be!)

Here’s what her human had to say: “We think that Greta rescued us more than we rescued her. We had recently lost the last of our seven cats and two dogs, leaving us with a sad, empty house. One of us also lost her job due to state budget cuts, and the other one had been downsized from full-time work to part-time contract work. And then there was the isolation and loneliness of the pandemic. Greta brought sunshine and joy to us. She is always happy, regardless of what she is doing. She even wags her tails when she is merely drinking water! And she loves, loves, LOVES going to the vet for her monthly shots! When she smiles at us, she bears her teeth in a wide grin. We love her so much!”

Thanks for the pupdate, Sine! It sounds like Greta found you when you needed her most. (It also sounds like she’s a good sport and has long ago forgiven us for naming her Smiley Miley 😂)

Millie, sweet Millie, is back at GRRF and looking for her forever home. Much like Greta, Millie has her "particulars," but unlike Greta, this darling girl isn't opposed to sharing a home with a doggy friend. Happy Monday! Time for another "Where Are They Now" spotlight.

Today's update is a twofer! Say hello to GRRF alums, Chip and Penny. Chip was adopted back in 2021 and Penny was recruited as Chip's sidekick in 2023.

Here's what their family had to say about this dynamic duo: "Chip is still food driven and jumps when excited, but has slowed down with age. Chip loves to go skijoring and duck hunt. Penny is still a huge cuddle bug and loves to sleep in. She loves to go fishing and be in water 24/7. Give Penny a orange chuck-it ball and she is in heaven!"

We're a little late getting this "Where Are They Now" spotlight posted, but better late than never!

Today's update comes from Emily who adopted her ride-or-die Addie back in 2014. Here's what Emily had to say:

Addie is about to celebrate her 12th birthday this coming January! She is still as snuggly as the day she walked into my door and my heart in September 2014. She now lives her best life in Washington State, enjoying her time fishing, camping, wandering the garden and chasing squirrels in the backyard… when she’s not snuggled up in her mom’s bed that is. She is the love of my life and the bestest girl ever!

It's a chilly Monday morning here in Fairbanks, so it seems like a good time for another heartwarming "Where Are They Now" spotlight.

Today's update comes from Kelly, who adopted Ralph back in 2022. Before coming to GRRF, Ralph lived mainly outside, but in his heart of hearts, he knew he was meant for an indoor life. Funnily enough, he found that indoor life with a very outdoorsy family!

Here's what Kelly had to say: "We adopted sweet Ralph after losing our bloodhound, Lt. Dan, 9 months prior. Ralph has brought a smile to our faces every day and enjoys all the adventures he gets to go on with us!"
