January Meeting
This month we will be meeting on the 15th. We have moved the meeting location to the Raven’s Landing Community Center which is ADA friendly. This center is directly across from the library with parking access directly off of Cowles St.. Once you come into the main center, follow the signs to our meeting room. Meetings begin at 6pm and run till 8pm.
This month we will be finalizing retreat plans as well as electing new officers. As it is the new year, we will be collecting the annual dues of $25. For new members, we do not expect you to pay dues for attending a meeting or two. Once you decide we are a good fit, we encourage you to add your dues to the coffers. The guild uses the dues to reimburse materials for those teaching classes, to purchase prizes for the competitive needlework department at the Tanana Valley State Fair, and to pay our dues to the Fairbanks Arts Association, and to occasionally make donations to charities that are approved by the guild members.
