Our groomed ski areas are a great place to ski, but if you use your imagination, you can ski in a lot of different places. Mark Ross recently took advantage of the new snow to do 400-meter repeats on Creamer's Lane at Creamer's Field.

UAF North Campus had its first grooming report for the season yesterday and it's on their new Nordic Pulse page. We are also going to be using Nordic Pulse this year. Very exciting!

Kendall Kramer's October 24th free Nordic Ski Clinic has a few more skier spots. Youth athletes can sign-up for the free workshop using the QR code on the poster.
This Saturday, plan to attend the West Valley Ski Swap and then have a lesson with an Olympian: Kendall Kramer.
All ski levels welcomed.

The signs came out on November 4th of last year. Today, October 20, 2026, we've had a dozen skiers enjoying the fresh snow. Rumor has it that our groomers will be out tomorrow rolling the snow to make the base. After that sets-up and we get some more snow, we may see the signs - Nordic Skiing Only.
