We’ve got all kinds of fun happening this month, with events for all ages, teens and a few 18+ spaces too!

Stop by during open hours for spooky-themed activities, check out what’s on the calendar and come spend some time in community with us. 👻

We’re grateful to the FNSBSD School Board members who continue to support the annual resolutions recognizing LGBTQ History Month and Indigenous Peoples Day.

Representation matters, and so does making space for our histories to be seen, shared and carried forward.

And speaking of q***r history, join us this weekend for Q***rstory! We’ll be gathering from 4–7 PM to hear stories from q***r elders, organizers, performers and community members across generations.

Come share a story or just come listen. All ages are welcome and there will be a free meal.

Q***r life in Alaska has a long history, and so many of those stories live in the people who were there.

Q***rstory is an intergenerational storytelling night bringing together q***r elders, organizers, drag performers and community members to share stories from across the decades.

We’ll have invited storytellers throughout the evening, but the floor will also be open for anyone who wants to share a poem, a memory, a funny story or a piece of local q***r history.

We want younger folks to hear about the q***r community that has been here for generations, and for elders to hear what it’s like growing up q***r now. It’s a chance to learn from each other, celebrate how our community has grown and connect across generations.

You are also more than welcome to just come and listen. All ages are welcome, and you do not have to share to be part of the evening. Come learn about our history, hear the stories that shaped our community and help us carry them forward.
