The next Winter Ball Session designed for baseball players to keep the swings going all winter long -- presented by North Stars Baseball -- is this weekend, Oct 17 from 12-4pm broken down by age and skill below. ❄️⚾

*** Foundation Sessions -- Interior Baseball League -- These sessions are designed for newer players and those looking to learn the game in a fun, relaxed, and high-energy environment.

🌟 What to Expect:

+ Fundamental skill building (hitting, fielding, throwing mechanics)

+ Low-pressure drills and fun indoor mini-games

+ A supportive space to build confidence and fall in love with the game

📍 Where: Randy Smith Middle School

👟 Gear Needed: Sneakers/turf shoes, glove, and a baseball hat

📲 Time: Ages 8-11 from 12:00pm to 1:15pm and Ages 12-14 from 1:15pm to 2:30pm

*** High-Performance Session -- North Stars Baseball -- These sessions are built for dedicated players ready to lock in, refine their technique, and push their game to the next level before spring. Previous North Stars Baseball participation is encouraged.

🎯 What We’re Focusing On:

High-rep hitting, positional, and throwing mechanics and fundamentals

Advanced footwork, arm care, and velocity work

📍 Where: Rand Smith Middle School

⚾ Gear Needed: Full equipment (turfs, glove, bat, helmet)

📲 Time: All ages 8-14 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm

That means the first session of Winter Ball is this weekend, October 3rd @ Randy Smith Middle School.

When: Sat, Oct 3rd
Time: 2:30pm - 4pm
Where: Randy Smith Middle School

The cost is $75 which includes all remaining winter ball sessions planned for the winter 26/27 winter development months.

Winter Ball is designed to keep dedicated baseball players in Fairbanks and the vicinity engaged and growing their skills in the game of baseball during the cold winter months. North Stars coaches provide all session that focus on skills, teamwork, and the life lessons that come with playing the game in a safe, supportive setting.

The final out doesn't mean the work is over! ⚾️ Keeping our fields safe and game-ready for the kids is a 365-day job. From spring prep to winterizing the dirt, field maintenance never sleeps.
