Early Bird Registration is now open for the inaugural Wilderness Way Girls' Camp Charity Golf Classic at the Chickasaw Point Golf Course on September 26, 2026.

Now till May, registration is discounted to $500 for a foursome.

Form a team of 4 and come join us for a fun-filled day on the course while taking on the $10,000 Hole-In-One Challenge.

There are some other fun events taking place like the Long Drive Competition, Closest to the Pin Competition, and the overall Top Team.

Thank you again to Nicholas and his pizza team at Peace of Pie on Hartwell for all the hot pizzas that were donated to the Girls' Camp last week. Every National Pizza Day in February, they partner with hundreds of pizzerias across America to serve, create connection and inspire moments of joy. The girls and our staff just love your pizza and we truly appreciate your generosity and kindness.

We wish to send a big Thank You to Nicholas at "Peace of Pie on Hartwell" for their generous donation of pizzas to the girls and staff last Friday. It was thoroughly enjoyed and their pizzas are amazing. Peace of Pie partners with the U.S. organization "Slice Out Hunger" that donates pizzas and raises funds through the power of pizza.

This past Wednesday, the Pathfinders were invited to participate in the Freshwater snorkeling education program at Burrell’s Ford in Sumter National Forest with the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture Forest Service headed up by Forest Fish Biologist, Keith Whalen. Also joining the research was Dr. Wade Worth from Furman University who is a dragonfly specialist. The campers along with Tanner, Fletcher, and Disraeli from CATT (Center for Aquatic Technology Transfer) and Erin & Chad from American Rivers collected macroinvertebrates to determine the health of the Chattooga River, while learning the importance of these insects and the role they play in the ecosystem. We are grateful to be a part of this research program and the girls really enjoyed seeing the river from this unique perspective. Thank you to everyone mentioned for making this day such a special learning opportunity and a fun day snorkeling the river.

2025 Summer Newsletter

This past Wednesday, we took the campers for our annual camp fishing day at a private pond in Ware Shoals. Thank you to Dr. Joe James and his wife Sandy, Eddie Rembrandt, Bill Turrington, and Paul for hosting us and for their wonderful hospitality. We caught plenty of bass, brim, crappies and a snapping turtle. Eddie did an amazing job frying all the fish while Ms. Emily, our awesome cook, whipped up some delicious hushpuppies to go along with it. For some of the campers, it was their first time fishing and catching. The Trailblazers have already headed out for their lake trip this week while the Pathfinders will begin their lake trip next week. Hope everyone has a great summer!
