****MOTHER HUBBARD UPDATE****

Thank you to everyone who donated for Mother Hubbard back when we pulled her from the shelter. Her name has been changed from Mother Hubbard to Coco. Coco got spayed back on May 5th, so it has been a month. While she was there, they found a cracked tooth and 2 others that needed to be pulled. The over $700 we raised from your donations covered half of her dental. She is now living her best life! She recently got a special trip to Yosemite.

Second chances and new forever homes make the different in any animal's lives. Thank all of you who donated to her. It made a difference and we appreciate every single one of you guys.

One of our fosters, and I can't complain, asked me if we could pull a Mastiff from the shelter. We agreed to do it for the foster, for a multitude of reasons. One being, the dog was gonna be euthanized tomorrow if she didn't get pulled. Another, our foster is absolutely amazing. Another good excuse, Mastiff dogs, if raised well, and in general, are amazing dogs. And I have to admit, we have major Mastiff love with us. She is getting Spayed on the 5th of May, but the foster is more than likely keeping this girl. But, look at the smile on this girl as she is on her way out of the shelter and on her way to a new home.

Hello bunny people! We were contacted yesterday about these 2 babies. Meet Hadley and Midge. They are mother and daughter bonded pair. A little about them. They were born close to the beginning of Covid. Midge is the mom and Hadley is the daughter. We don't know if momma was pregnant when she went to her home, but they are obviously well loved in their current home.

A little about them, they are pellet free and get unlimited hay 24/7 and veggies in the morning and again in the evening. They love their treats and demand should you forget about them. Hadley had a pellet scare a while back because she was so excited, that it caused her to choke. So, they have transitioned to pellet free. As long as given a variety of veggies, even our vet doesn't recommend pellets for bunnies. Hay, hay and hay is best plus their veggies being rotated.

Hadley is the more outgoing of the 2 babies and Midge enjoys wanting her kiddo handle business and bring all the veggies to her table for them. We are assisting the owners to help rehome them. If interested in adopting them, please email us at [email protected] or call (916) 417-2220. We will forward your info to the home rehoming the girls.
