The primary goal of Kids Helping Kids is to invest in the lives of children who are in need of support. We are proud to be able to accomplish this both in our community as well as abroad. We have many ways of making this happen, but the primary fundraiser takes place in the form of a signature gala. Each year we hold a benefit concert at the Granada in Santa Barbara, and the Crest Theater in Sacra

mento featuring artists such as Tyrone Wells, Five For Fighting, Mat Kearney, Grammy Nominee Sara Bareilles, Grammy Award-winning Switchfoot, and special guest Brad Corrigan from Dispatch. Leading up to the gala we send groups of students to make presentations to companies in hopes of receiving various levels of sponsorship. These “advancement” teams are trained by professionals at the Music Academy of the West, and Stanford Youth Solutions on how to make professional and successful presentations. In addition we hold smaller events such as school dances, a school talent show (the winner gets to open the benefit concert), and a showing of a classical film at the prestigious Hahn Hall at the Music Academy of the West. Everything Kids Helping Kids contributes to the economic goal of maximizing profit to raise funds. After the benefit concert, the students of Kids Helping Kids decide how to allocate the funds. Ideas of where the funds are most needed are procured through the students as well as a form those in need may fill out.

As this chapter comes to a close, we couldn't be more proud of our graduating seniors. Over the years, they have led with compassion, dedicated countless hours to serving others. While we're sad to see them go, we're excited to watch them soar.
This fall, our seniors will be attending UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, Cal Poly, UC Santa Cruz, Oregon State, Sacramento State, Chico State, UC Merced, California Baptist University, Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Folsom Lake College, Cosumnes River College, and American River College. Congratulations, Class of 2026! Thank you for everything you've given to Kids Helping Kids.

We had the pleasure of delivering Brave Baskets to KCCA, bringing a little extra comfort and encouragement to teens and families battling pediatric cancer. Seeing the impact of these baskets is a powerful reminder of why our mission matters. Thank you to everyone who has supported Kids Helping Kids this year and helped make moments like this possible.
