💚 Today we’re celebrating a business that has chosen to give back from day one.

As they open their doors in Rocklin, Enchanted Indoor Playground is donating opening day proceeds to Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer. We are so grateful!

As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of our community to continue supporting children with cancer and their families through providing Hospital Wagons, resources, and emotional support, from parents who are walking this journey with them.

Today we celebrate the warriors who have faced cancer and continue moving forward with incredible strength.

At Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer, we’ve learned that survivorship is not just the end of treatment. It’s the follow-up appointments, the lasting effects, the milestones that once felt out of reach, and the moments families fought so hard to obtain

We’ve watched children ring the bell, return to school, graduate, learn to drive, head off to college, and simply get to be kids again.

To every survivor in our community, we are so proud of you.

Your journey has changed us. Your courage inspires us. And today, we celebrate YOU.

Grab you crew and head on over to Ruhstaller Farm this Thursday, June 4. The farm is located at 6686 Sievers Rd, Dixon, CA.

The farm opens early for you to purchase dinner from Tapps Kitchen and drinks on tap from Ruhstaller. Ruhstaller Farm also sells ice cream that is amazing!!!

YOLO line dance events are put on by volunteers and 100% of your $5 donation will support Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer.

5:30 - 6:30 PM is a full hour dedicated to beginner line dancers!!! Beginners, arrive early for the warm-up session at 5:30 PM and a formal beginner lesson of Hillbilly Girl at 6 PM with Kirsten.

Don’t worry we have several beginner dances to be played throughout the night. Every time we call “Everyone on the Floor” you know the dance is perfect for beginner line dancers and for people who don’t know the dance. Join the fun, make mistakes and laugh and sing to your hearts content!

However, when we say, “if you don’t know the dance please exit the floor,” please exit for the safety of others around you. These dances are more difficult and have twists and turns you can’t know are coming. One or more can get hurt and we don’t want pile ups on our dance floor. In addition, the dancers that know the harder dances have worked hard to learn them and should be able to enjoy the dance without worries of running into someone who doesn’t.

At 8:00 we will learn an intermediate dance called Chomping At The Bit by Harmony.

Thanks to your incredible generosity during Big Day of Giving, we raised $6,100 and cleared 12 wagons from our waiting list. Special thanks to all who gave through the Mama Bear BDOG page; and those who created pages in honor of their warrior: Ashley’s Wagons and From Our Journey to Theirs: Supporting Mama Bears 🐾🎗️.

Every wagon is filled with essentials designed to bring hope, distraction, and support to children facing cancer and the families walking beside them.

When a family hears the words “your child has cancer,” their world changes in an instant. Your kindness reminds them they are not walking this road alone.

May is National Cancer Research Awareness Month. 🎗️

Because of research, children are surviving cancers where there was once no hope. Because of research, families get more time, more options, and more moments they once thought were impossible. Research saves lives.

But there is still so much work to do. Too many children endure harsh treatments and side effects from therapies designed decades ago. Too many families still hear devastating words no parent should ever hear.

At Mama Bears Fighting Childhood Cancer, we are deeply grateful for every researcher, doctor, nurse, donor, advocate, and supporter helping push pediatric cancer treatment forward. Research saves lives. Funding matters. Awareness matters.

And behind every statistic is a child worth fighting for. 💛🎗️

📣 A HUGE shout out to the Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference Rolling Hills Middle School for all their hard work with the Carnival for Mama Bears 🐻 Today Diane and I were invited to come to the check presentation and end of year party 🎉 It was such a special time talking with them and celebrating all they accomplished! These kids rock🎉🥳 They are 🌎 changers💥
