We want to thank all our exhibitors and sponsors who supported our inaugural Empowered Aging in Fair Oaks Event!

What an Amazing turn out! So many seniors and their families who were so happy, and engaging with all our exhibitors. We loved seeing all those smiling faces, and they all left with goodie bags stuffed with lots of very important information, to make a PLAN!!

We all make plans throughout our lives for buying a car, a house, plan a wedding, planning for Babies, birthdays, anniversaries, date nights, graduations, travel etc. But many do not plan for the emergency or for the final stages of life. Don’t let someone else make those decisions for you, help your loved ones and make a PLAN.

Nobody wants to think about the end of life, we are all here to enjoy every moment we have living life! But it is important to make a PLAN. We hope this event helped many who came looking for help, to get some of the answers they needed and to help them with getting the ball rolling to make a PLAN for the big decisions that may come.

The Fair Oaks Chamber has been planning this event for many many years, and we are so happy to see it all come together this year. Thanks to our amazing committee Dot Boyd, Senior Safety Specialist and Anupama ShojaeiCarePatrol and Mysti Lingenfelterand our board, sponsors, exhibitors and especially to New Life Community Church for allowing us to use their space for our community to come together. A Big thank you to our volunteers that helped set up and take down the event and many thanks to our Board Chair / MC Skinned & Lashed By Jen for keeping the event engaging to those in attendance and to all our panelists for answering some important questions. We appreciate each and every one of you.

For more information check out our chamber website for senior related services and for those who were in attendance.
