Friends and Neighbors,

We are once again imploring you to ensure your dogs are leashed or fenced in when outside. There has been a recent string of dogs getting loose, and very nearby loose dogs attacked local livestock over the weekend.

We, as the board, love dogs as much as the next person, however they have to be restricted to leashes or fenced yards while outside, according to Maryland law and Cecil County ordinances. A loose dog is considered "at large", and owners may find themselves subject to fines or more if dogs are repeatedly at large. Additionally, at large dogs pose a safety issue to neighbors and themselves, and could end up hurting someone or being struck by a vehicle. Keep them safe and secure to help keep everyone safe.

If you notice an unfamiliar dog running loose in the neighborhood, Animal Control asks that you contact them so they can safely secure the dog and reunite it with its owner, helping to keep our pets and children safe.

Friends and neighbors, we have exciting news! Glen Farms is moving into the modern age and making payments easier - we now have Venmo! When you join us tomorrow evening for Friday Night By The Lake, you will be able to use Venmo to pay for your pizza by the slice! Tomorrow will be our first implementation, so bear with us as we work through any kinks together. By the end of the year, we plan to make it possible to pay your dues through Venmo!

Come on out tomorrow, we can't wait to see you!
