This is terribly sad news, friends. But for the Covid year (2021) B6 has been the main draw for the AOH St Patrick’s Day party since March of 2016. And that doesn’t include an online show and a Halfway party, (So nice, we needed it twice!) 10+ shows, and they gave it all!
So on March 8, make your way to the Columbus Club in Fair Haven and enjoy our last hurrah with our P***y Irish friends from PA!!
After almost 20 years of playing music together, we have decided it’s time to hang it up. This St. Patrick’s Day season will be our last as Birmingham Six with our final set scheduled at this year’s Philadelphia Fleadh Irish Festival on May 9th at 1675 at The Ridges in Bensalem, Pa
Before anyone speculates, here’s the truth. It’s just time. We gave it our all, poured our hearts out into every note and left it all on the stage. No regrets. We’ve made a lot of friends over the years and I’m sure we pi**ed off a bunch of people too. There is no goal that we set as a band back in 2006 that we haven’t accomplished. And there’s nothing left to say except, “Thank you and good bye.” So join us for one (or all) of our last eight shows.

If any of us are asked why we’re disbanding, the six of us have agreed to tell you the most outrageous lies with each story getting more spectacular, embellished and unbelievable every time we are asked. So feel free to ask whenever you see us. And who knows, perhaps there’s something new in the works? Or maybe not. But for now, we’re just going to enjoy the next few months and give you everything we got a few more times before we, “Move On.”
