Partnership for Community Awareness and Connection - Fair Grove, Missouri A volunteer, non-profit entity committed to building a stronger, more connected Fair Grove for everyone! at the Fair Grove Fire Department. Thank you!

The PCAC originally formed July 25, 2024 as the The Police Citizens Advisory Committee of Fair Grove, Missouri (hereinafter referred to as the “PCAC”), as a volunteer only, non-profit entity whose mission was to help the City of Fair Grove’s Police Department. As we have grown over the past year and a half, we realized that our name limited our reach in the community. Effective January 1, 2026, we

rebranded with a new name (same acronym), new logo, broader mission and the same wonderfully dedicated committee members. While our roots began with supporting our Fair Grove Police Department, whom we will continue to support, our heart has always been for all of Fair Grove. This name change reflects our commitment to a broader mission to connect with as many entities as we can to include not only the Fair Grove Police Department, but to also connect with and support the Fair Grove Fire Protection District, Fair Grove R-X School District, Fair Grove Park Board, our local Veterans and Seniors, as well as anyone else who would like our support. Don't worry, our beloved Shop with a Hero event isn't going anywhere. As this event becomes traditional, we are planning to make it bigger and brighter, helping even more kids experience the magic of shopping with our local heroes and waking up to present under the tree on Christmas morning. Our Mission Statement is now "To bridge the gap and build a stronger, more connected Fair Grove for everyone!"

We allocate time during our monthly meetings for the public to voice any concerns, questions or praise. Meetings are typically every third Wednesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. An agenda is provided to the public 24 hours prior to such meetings. We look forward to working with all of the Fair Grove community! The PCAC consists of:

🚌🚸 School is Almost Back in Session! 🚸🚌

As we get ready to welcome students back to school, let’s all do our part to help keep our children safe.

Whether they’re riding the bus, walking, biking, or being dropped off, our kids are counting on all of us to stay alert.

💜 Please remember:
🛑 Stop for school buses when the stop arm is extended.
🚶 Watch carefully for children crossing the street.
🚗 Slow down in school zones and neighborhoods.
📵 Stay focused and avoid distractions while driving.

Every child deserves to arrive at school and back home safely each day.

Let’s work together to make this a safe and successful school year for all of our Fair Grove students, families, bus drivers, teachers, and staff.

Notice of Open Meeting

Public notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Partnership for Community Awareness and Connection of Fair Grove, Missouri will be held at the Fair Grove Fire Department, 340 W. Eagle Ridge Court, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. to consider and act upon the matters on the following tentative agenda and such other matters as may be presented at the meeting and determined to be appropriate for discussion at that time.

The tentative agenda discussion items of the meeting include:

1. Roll Call

3. Approve Agenda

Public Forum
1. All members of the community are welcome to sit in and observe the meeting. This part of the meeting is provided to open the floor to anyone in attendance who would like to express concerns, provide comments and discussion topics related to how the PCAC can assist other entities in the Fair Grove community.

The Fair Grove PCAC Committee would like to wish everyone celebrating a birthday this month a very Happy Birthday! We hope your special day is filled with love, laughter, good health, and wonderful memories.

As we welcome the month of August, we’re reminded that it’s a time for new beginnings, family, wellness, giving back, and preparing for another exciting school year. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to recognize the people and organizations that help make our community stronger every day.

🌟 Meet the Committee 🌟

Meet LaDonna, a dedicated member of the Fair Grove Partnership for Community Awareness and Connection Committee (PCAC)!

Although she was born and raised in St. Louis, LaDonna’s family roots run deep in southwest Missouri. She grew up active in her church, singing in a girls’ gospel group, and has always had a heart for serving others.

While attending McCluer High School, LaDonna played the trumpet and was invited to compete at the International Youth in Music Competition in Vienna, Austria. On her 16th birthday, her group earned First Place—a memory she’ll never forget!

LaDonna became a Registered Nurse and spent many years caring for others in southwest Missouri before moving to Texas. But Missouri always felt like home, and she returned to Fair Grove 10 years ago.

She and her husband have one son, who teaches at Lockwood High School, and are proud grandparents to three wonderful grandchildren.

Today, LaDonna stays active in the Fair Grove United Methodist Church, Pay It Forward Ministries, and the Fair Grove PCAC. Although retired from traditional nursing, she continues to volunteer as a medic for area roller derby teams.

When she’s not volunteering, you’ll find her crafting, planning community and church events, or spending time with her beloved fur babies.
