The Fair Grove Area Community Foundation is accepting applications for its 2025 community grant round. All applications are due by 5:00pm on February 12, 2025. A total of $5,000 is available for programs and organizations in the Fair Grove area.
Any non profit organization is welcome to apply for the grant. A maximum amount per application is $5,000.

Nonprofit agencies with 501(c)3 or similar tax-exempt status like schools, faith-based organizations or governmental entities are eligible to apply for grants. In awarding grants, the Fair Grove Area Community Foundation and the Community Foundation of the Ozarks will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, s*x, religion, national origin, age, disability, s*xual orientation, gender identity or veteran status.

The Fair Grove Area Community Foundation was founded in 2021 with a mission to enhance the quality of life in Fair Grove through resource development, community grantmaking, collaboration and public leadership.

Founded in 1973, the Community Foundation of the Ozarks is the region’s largest public charitable foundation serving a network of donors, 53 regional affiliate foundations — including the Community Foundation of the Ozarks - Fair Grove Chapter— and nonprofit partners across central and southern Missouri.

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks offers competitive and discretionary grantmaking cycles throughout the year. View currently open grant opportunities. Scholarship applications are accepted beginning each year.

Today, we had the privilege of awarding our grant recipient, Fair Grove Farmers' Market with a grant of $3350. Also awarded, but not pictured, was The Special Olympics and the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks. Thank you to all who applied and congratulations to our recipients.

Since its inception in April 2021, the Fair Grove Area Community Foundation has already distributed $80,570 in grants to the community and holds assets totaling $266,764 as of June 2023.

The Fair Grove Area Community Foundation is now accepting Grant Applications until January 9th, 2024. The unique role of a community foundation is to conduct a flexible community grantmaking program which addresses the most important needs of the community at any one time. The flexibility this requires is made possible by charitable donors who established unrestricted or field-of-interest funds and place the decision-making in the hands of the community leaders serving on our Board of Directors as well as dollars raised by the Fair Grove Area Community Foundation.
Grant proposals are accepted according to an announced time table, and grant recommendations are made as funds are available. 501(c)3 organizations or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts and churches, etc.) serving the Fair Grove area are eligible to apply.
Applicants who serve the Fair Grove area are encouraged to apply.
Applicants may apply for up to $7,700 in funding for this grant cycle. We encourage all applicants to apply for ANY amount up to $7,700.
