Youth are invited to participate in these programs which are organized nationally by the Scholastic Shooting Sports Federation www.sssfonline.org The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF), through its Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) and its Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP), provides school-age participants (grades 12 and under, in addition to a college division), with the opp
ortunity to learn and train in a safe environment, as well as showcase their competitive shooting skills and earn state and national recognition. The program is designed to instill in participants safe fi****ms handling, commitment, responsibility, leadership and teamwork. The Scholastic Clay Target Program is a program of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) and is sponsored by the governing bodies for trap, s***t and sporting clays shooting – the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA), the National S***t Shooting Association (NSSA) and the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA), respectively. The Scholastic Action Shooting Program is a program of the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) and is a youth action shooting program featuring .22 handguns, centerfire handguns and .22 rifles. The SASP provides a safe and simple introduction to action shooting and a level playing field across age and gender.
