Continue working on music and sustainability and if you have any requirements completed that need to be recorded please see Mrs. Wright.

Patrol Leaders, please come up with the name of your patrol, patrol yell, and flag. We'll be doing some things by Patrol this evening, also, I plan on starting another merit badge, Communication. Make sure you are in Class A uniform and that you have something to right with.

Spoke to the BSA today. If you have a valid swim test over the last two years it is still valid. For any of our new scouts, the choice is to do the swim test on your own or attend with one of your parents.

So our plan is to have an outing with the canoes Saturday, October 24th.

The BSA Swim Test:
Swimmers pass this test: Level off and swim 75 yards in a strong manner using one or more of the following strokes: sidestroke, breaststroke, trudgen, or crawl; then swim 25 yards using an easy resting backstroke. The 100 yards must be completed in one swim without stops and must include at least one sharp turn.
