Come join us for our Annual Fire Prevention Open House!

Thursday, October 15, from 6 to 8 PM, the Lionville Fire Company is opening our doors to the community. Stop by for live demos, check out our fire trucks along with emergency vehicles from other local agencies, enter the kids' coloring contest, and enjoy some light food and refreshments.

This year's Fire Prevention Week theme is "Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower," focused on safe charging habits for phones, e-bikes, scooters, and other battery-powered devices. Come pick up a few tips to keep your family safe.

Uwchlan Township Police Department Toys for Tots program

The Uwchlan Township Police Department is again supporting the Toys for Tots program – an initiative bringing joy to families during the holidays.

Donations are being accepted from October 1, 2026 to December 9, 2026.

Anyone wishing to participate may drop off a new unwrapped toy at either:

Main Lobby, Police Department, 717 N. Ship Rd, Exton PA 19341
Township Administration Building, 715 N. Ship Rd, Exton PA 19341
The offices are open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Once the donations have been received, our Police Department will deliver them to a local hub in early December. From there, they’ll be sorted and distributed by a dedicated volunteer network.

Upper Uwchlan Township Toys For Tots 2026 Toy Drive

Upper Uwchlan Township Toys for Tots 2026 Toy Drive runs October 1 to December 11, 2026

Upper Uwchlan Township is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Marine Toys for Tots - Chester and Montgomery Counties, PA Foundation starting on October 1 through December 11!

All donations are appreciated, but they run short on toys to serve the youngest and oldest children every year. The largest gaps are for children ages 0-2 and 11+.

Drop off new, unwrapped toys at the Upper Uwchlan Township Office:
Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
or Friday, 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Traffic Alert for Sunday 9/20/2026 for Upper Uwchlan Township

On Sunday, September 20, the annual Marshman Triathlon will be taking place in Marsh Creek State Park and surrounding roads. The triathlon consists of a swim, bike race, and a 5k run. The swim and the run are entirely within Marsh Creek State Park, the bike race takes place on the public roads. The bike race, which is about 12.5 miles long, loops around the park, and uses Park Road, Moore Road, Dorlans Mill Road, Creek Road/Rt. 282, Marshall Road, and Little Conestoga Road. Bicycles can be expected on these roads from around 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM.

Please use caution around the bicycles, and pass with care. It’s a very brief time they will be using the road, and we want to help keep everyone safe. If you’re able, please consider coming out and cheering on the racers!

Remembering September 11, 2001 - 25 years later

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation was changed forever.

We remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and the countless families, friends, and communities forever affected by that day.

We especially honor the 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, 8 EMTs and paramedics, and countless other emergency responders who made the ultimate sacrifice while running toward danger to help others.

Their courage, selflessness, and commitment to service continue to inspire those of us who serve our communities today.

We also remember the responders who became ill in the years that followed and those who continue to live with the physical and emotional consequences of their service.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.

September 11, 2001 — Never Forget.
