1756 Uwchlan Meeting House It was sold to the Uwchlan Conservation Trust in 1976. This architectural and historical gem reflects the Quaker character of its builders.

The historic Uwchlan Meeting House was a Quaker meeting house, a hospital during the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, and a school before being purchased by The Woman's Community Club of Uwchlan. At the corner of Route 113 and Village Avenue in the historic village of Lionville is the site of the 1756 Uwchlan Meeting House. The stately stone grey house sits with quiet dignity as the hectic pace of 21st century living zooms by. We need your help:

This capital will cover the costs of a new boiler to heat the building, new windows to keep the building insulated, and new ceiling beams to keep the structure sound. I am so excited! On Sunday, July 5th, at 1:00 P.M., the Uwchlan Garden Club will be re-dedicating the NGC Blue Star Memorial By-Way Marker that is attached to a large fieldstone in front of me. They are doing this in conjunction with the 250th anniversary of our country; it's also my 270th birthday! The Blue Star Marker is a tribute to service men and women, past/present/future.
The garden club will be displaying memorabilia in the meeting house, including original shutters, and showing a short film. And, I think I heard someone mention cake. Save the date!

This past weekend, I was rented for a baby shower and the parents-to-be shared pictures! It was PERFECT!
