AGAINST THE ODDS We Rise Together

This charity is a response to what my family and I needed after experiencing the loss of my son Desmond earlier this year. This page will serve s a public platform for families to communicate and share experiences to begin healing, nurture relationships, and learn from each other. We understand that no one experiences the loss of a baby the exact same way. We choose to focus on the similarities and also do our best to understand the differences thus building a bridge of connection versus a wall of pain.

The foundation will support families who will participate in a 8 week program designed to focus on the key 7 stages of grief; recognizing grief from a post traumatic strength perspective, building on skills and tools to support individual and group experiences.
