Another year, another round of incredible accomplishments!! 🥾🏔️🐾⛰️

Last night at the AMC4000 Annual Awards, we recognized hundreds of hikers (human and canine!) who have spent years achieving goals to complete 4000 Footer Club lists!!

Thank you to all our awesome vendors, our wonderful summit series speaker, Timothy Muskat, and to everyone in attendance!!

Congratulations hikers, you did it!! 🥾🎉👏

See you next year! 🙌

Greetings friends!

I’m happy to announce the guest speaker for this year’s AMC 4000 Footer awards ceremony is Tim Muskat, local author and poet! Tim will give an hour long lecture called “Leaving The Low Country” to be followed by a Q&A. The lecture is set to begin at 4pm in the main auditorium.

I can also share a list of vendors slated to attend. Many are returning from last year and the list is packed with talent and great causes!

We look forward to seeing new faces who will be receiving scrolls as well as old faces. If you are not receiving a scroll you can still attend…all are welcome! This is the biggest event in the New England hiking community every year and a great chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones!

So mark your calendar! April 18th, 2026 for the Exeter High school in Exeter, New Hampshire! Doors open at 3pm and all we ask is $3 at the entrance to help offset the cost of the ceremony!

Greetings friends!

It's that time of the year...Awards Ceremony time!

The AMC 4000 footer Club annual award ceremony will occur on Saturday, April 18th, at Exeter High School in Exeter New Hampshire. Doors open at 3pm and we ask for a $3 per person entrance fee to help cover the cost of the ceremony.

We are finalizing this year's guest speaker for the summit series and soon will have that information to share in the next couple weeks.

We will also be sharing a full list of vendors soon as well. We currently have some vendor spots left open, so if you would like to get in touch with our vendor coordinator, Corey Perkins feel free to message me and I will get you his contact info.

We look forward to seeing new friends as well as old as we celebrate this year's finishers!

Everything you need to know about the Lincoln Woods Trail Closure:

When?
Monday, February 9, 2026 for a few weeks, then closing again June 2026-Nov 1, 2026.

Where?
1.4 miles of the Lincoln Woods Trail will be closed starting at Lincoln Woods Trailhead off Highway 112 (Kanc) to jct of Osseo Trail.

Why?
According to the US Forest Service, the trail “suffered significant damage during several flooding events over the past decade. This is essential work to ensure the long term viability of the trail.”

Plan alternate routes for WM 4000’er access to peaks such as Owl’s Head, and The Bonds. This also Impacts the start/end points of the popular Pemi Loop.

East Side Trail will remain open and accessible at the Lincoln Woods Trailhead parking area for day hikes or alternative wilderness trips.

Be aware of the risks associated with river crossings, as they can be challenging with fluctuating river levels. Please exercise extreme caution, if you choose to cross a river or stream. It is your personal responsibility to assess conditions on site when deciding whether to cross.

Please also be respectful of any “closed to public use” or “restricted” signage and do not enter the area. Note that there are fines associated with any violations.

Greetings friends! The 4000 Footer Club committee has recently rolled out a new feature on our website to help streamline the application process! The new feature is a digital way to track and then print for submission your application for the Any Season WM48. When you enter your dates into the appropriate fields then print the pdf a QR code will be generated so that our recording Secretary can scan this code to process it. This will help cut down on processing time and hopefully improve turnaround. As of right now it is only for the Any Season WM48, and it’s only for mail in purposes, but the ultimate end goal is to roll it out to all lists as well as a future option to apply straight through the website…no mailing necessary! We are striving to bring the overall experience of applying into the modern age and we hope everyone finds this new feature as useful as we hope it will be!
