What an incredible evening! 🎉

From celebrating our deserving honorees to hearing the inspiring stories of individuals whose lives have been touched by Northeast Sight Services, this year's Awards Dinner was truly a night to remember!

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible community, we raised almost $155,000!

As our largest fundraiser of the year, the Awards Dinner helps make the programs and services we provide to individuals who are blind or visually impaired throughout Northeast Pennsylvania possible.

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, auction donors, attendees, volunteers, Board of Directors, and Awards Dinner Committee for helping make the evening such a success. And a special thank you to our amazing staff, pictured here, who put so much time, energy, and heart into bringing everything together!

We are so grateful for a community that continues to show up for Northeast Sight Services and the people we serve. Your generosity helps us provide the resources, opportunities, and support that empower individuals experiencing vision loss to live with greater confidence and independence.

📍 5:30 p.m. | Registration opens at the front door. Valet parking will be available.

Friday’s Interview the Industry: Today’s Talent Gives Value to Tomorrow’s Workforce brought students and local employers together in celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)!

Twelve students in Northeast Sight Services’ Transitioning to Independence Program (TIP) took the lead, sitting across the table from local employers to share their skills, practice professional communication and explore career opportunities.

The reverse job fair highlighted the talent and potential of individuals with disabilities and the importance of creating inclusive workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Thank you to the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation - Bureau of Blindness and Visual Services for partnering with us, along with our participating employers and community partners: Benco Dental, Coal Creative, United Way of Wyoming Valley, PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Wilkes-Barre, Times Leader, The Institute for Public Policy & Economic Development and Geisinger. Thank you for investing your time in our students and helping them explore what’s possible for their futures!
