I wanted to share just one more photo of bobbing for apples by Dream Photography. The little girl in pink opted for bobbing for marshmallows instead of apples. She got one big marshmallow out of the water. It was really cute.

The organizers of the student art and writing contest ARTS from the Pumpkin Patch wanted to thank first and foremost the students who created and entered the contest!

The web of contributors that helped make the event possible were The Excelsior Springs Cultural Guild, Loose Balloons Children’s Books, The Excelsior Citizen, The Richmond News, The Excelsior Springs Chamber of Commerce, The Oaks Hotel, Kristy and the Oaks Residents, the Bohemian Sage Art Gallery’s judging artists, the writing judges, all of the ES and Lawson and Kearney shop owners who displayed our poster, the public, private, home and Montessori schools, the parents, teachers, principals, and the grandparents and family’s of the student artists who helped advertise and move the ARTS from the Pumpkin Patch Contest forward.

Our hope is to include more children in this community effort in the future!
