📢 The 2026 Entry-Level Firefighter Examination Announcements are now open. Applications will be accepted until 4:00 PM on August 31, 2026.

Key Dates:

- Testing: December 2026 and January 2027
- Exam Results: Expected in March 2027
- Physical Performance Test (PPT): Anticipated to start in late spring 2027

🔥2026 NJ CIVIL SERVICE ENTRY LEVEL FIREFIGHTER🔥testing is now OPEN from 7/1/26-8/31/26.

1. Must be age 18 by 8/31/26
2. Must not be 1 day over age 35 by 8/31/26
3. Must have graduated High School by 8/31/26
4. Must ESTABLISH RESIDENCY by 8/31/26

Testing will be Fall/Winter 2026, Lists will issue Spring 2027.
