🎊 Importance of Festivals in the Philippines 🎊

In spite of no gbm this week, we wanted to bring to light the culture behind Festivals in the Philippines!! Celebrating festivals is a big part of Filipino culture as they honor and remember the different saints they believe have miraculous powers. While festivals in the Philippines are religious in origin, nowadays, the religious component is usually secondary to the general spirit of the celebration itself. the semester is almost done and finals are coming up so let’s take a break and go ice skating!!! we will be ice skating on Friday Dec 9th (YAYYYY LAST DAY OF CLASSES) at Blue Cross RiverRink!! isn’t the view so pretty 😍 (imagine how pretty it’d be in person😝) it’ll be a fun time so be sure to fill out the form on our website :) link in bio 🫶🏼
