The results are in!

The Island Preparedness Group is deeply humbled by the generosity demonstrated by so many this past weekend, December 11th, in support of Preparedness for a Cause. A sincerest mahalo and happy holidays to all those who made this possible; donors, volunteers, sponsors.

This event was supported by an estimated 100 volunteers collecting $1,200, 500 toys, and 1,200 pounds of food to benefit two worth organizations - the Hawai‘i Foodbank and Toys for Tots Oahu

West Oahu: Kapolei Shopping Center (parking lot near Safeway) from 8 a.m. to noon

Windward: Christ Church Uniting Disciples and Presbyterians (parking lot) from 9 a.m. to noon

East Oahu: Kahala Mall (parking lot near Chili’s restaurant) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All proceeds will help local families in need during the holiday season. Mahalo for your generosity!

There’s something about the holidays ‍🎄 that puts everyone in a good mood. Maybe it’s the parties, food — and days off. Or the traditions and family reunions. Of course, there’s also the joy that comes from the simple act of giving 🎁.
This year, our employees and the community are encouraged to participate in Preparedness for a Cause, which will be held at three different locations on Saturday, Dec. 11.

📍West Oahu: Kapolei Shopping Center (parking lot near Safeway) from 8 a.m. to noon
📍Windward: Christ Church Uniting (parking lot) from 9 a.m. to noon
📍East Oahu: Kahala Mall (parking lot near Chili’s restaurant) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Food items 🥫 should be non-perishable and toys 🧸 should be new and unwrapped. As a thank you, donors will receive an emergency preparedness gift bag.

As we enter the season of giving, consider donation to the Hawai‘i Foodbank and Toys for Tots Oahu by dropping off non-perishable foods; new, unwrapped toys; or monetary contributions at one of three locations across O`ahu on December 11th.

Now more than ever our neighbors, friends and family, need our help. We hope you’ll help us help them by setting aside a little bit extra this holiday season.
