🏅 Quarter 3 was our strongest quarter yet! 🇺🇸

The AMVETS Hawaii Adaptive Sports & Fitness Program, supported by the VA Adaptive Sports Grant Program (FAIN: SPORTS-25-025), continues to empower Veterans with disabilities through adaptive fitness, recreation, and community engagement across Hawaii and the Pacific.

📈 Quarter 3 Highlights (April–June 2026):
✅ 829 total activity check-ins — a 24% increase over Quarter 2
✅ 151 unique Veteran participants
✅ Program-record 322 check-ins in June
✅ Hosted our inaugural DEKA STRONG competition with 40 adaptive athletes
✅ Completed 48 fitness assessments in June alone
✅ Expanded adaptive sports outreach to American Samoa
✅ Continued monthly programming at the Daniel Kahikina Akaka VA Clinic and community outreach during the Onizuka Remembrance Ceremony
✅ Introduced adaptive indoor climbing for Veterans and their families through our partnership with HiClimb Honolulu

These achievements reflect the dedication of our Veterans, coaches, volunteers, community partners, and supporters who make this program possible. Together, we are building confidence, independence, resilience, and lifelong connections through adaptive sports and fitness.
