We are thrilled to announce that the Kapiʻolani Community College Dental Assisting Program has been awarded a generous grant from the Hawaii Dental Service(HDS) Foundation! This funding will allow us to acquire advanced equipment and technology, providing our students with hands-on experience using the same tools found in today’s dental offices. By enhancing their skills and knowledge, we are ensuring they are well-prepared for their careers as dental professionals.

As the Program Director, I am deeply thankful to the HDS Foundation for their continued support. This grant will not only benefit our students but also contribute to addressing the shortage of dental assistants across the state of Hawaii. We are proud to partner with HDS Foundation in our mission to shape the future of oral healthcare.
