Recycling for Children’s Cancer foundation. Update
Aloha to all the supporters for Recycling for Children’s Cancer.
This past 2 years has been particularly rough for me with my health challenges and having to go to mainland and help my parents the last 3 months. Thankfully SSG Saria Peterson with the US Army stepped up and helped us during this difficult time.
Our sincere apologies if you have not had a pickup in a while. Please contact me via Text 808-285-0207.
Saria’s schedule was extremely busy and her time was very limited.
We will be available every day this week for donations
This year we are making some changes.
1. Because of the overwhelming response we will become an official 501c Charitable Foundation!!!
2. We will be picking up every Monday for the next 6 weeks to get caught up. After that we will be on an every other week pickup.
3. However if you have a ton of overflow for some reason please text 808-285-0207 and I will make arrangements for a special pickup.
If you are new to Kapalina, and would like to get involved.
Please text me
808-285-0207.
What we do is collect any of your unwanted recycling items that ARE REDEEMABLE, we cannot take liquor or wine bottles, food containers, detergent or soap bottles, milk jugs, Or anything else that does not have the HI 5 imprint on it.
Currently we have been able to help support many families, St Judes, American Cancer Society, and many Go fund me request.
You would be surprised to see how quick those nickels add up. Seriously every single one counts!
If you want to save a life, and save our island, please feel free to contact me for more information.
Text is the best. I often miss responses to the messenger on FB
