What a wonderful day for Ride for Reid! Thank you to our riders, volunteers and sponsors for making it such a success. We welcomed two Jeeps and 35 motorcycles, and presented a Ride for Reid Scholarship to Tamyrah Robinson. We’ll share more highlights on Monday!

🏍️ Help us spread the word about Ride for Reid! 🦁

We’re getting ready for a great day of riding, fellowship and supporting Reid State students, and we need your help getting the word out!

There are three easy ways you can support Ride for Reid:

✅ REGISTER and join us for the ride. Motorcycles, Jeeps and Slingshots are welcome.

🚫 PLEASE NOTE: No ATVs or side-by-sides are permitted for this event.

❤️ DONATE even if you can’t attend. Every gift helps the Reid State Foundation provide scholarships for students preparing for careers in skilled trades like welding, industrial maintenance, electronics and CDL.

📌 HELP US SPREAD THE WORD! Save or print one of these flyers and, with permission, post it at your workplace, church, business, community bulletin board or another approved public location. You can also share this post with your friends, riding groups and Jeep clubs.

A registration, a donation, or simply helping us reach one more person can make a difference for a Reid State student.

Strengthening Southwest Alabama, together.

Yesterday, nonprofit leaders, board members, volunteers and community partners from across our region came together at Reid State Community College for Auburn University’s first Nonprofit Training Series program in Evergreen.

It was a wonderful day of learning, connecting and collaboration. Participants heard from subject matter experts on funding, marketing, building organizational capacity and using technology to work smarter.

We are grateful to Dr. Brittany Spillman and Grace Flowers with Auburn University’s Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy & Nonprofit Studies, and to our speakers William H. Bryant Jr., Pamela Ware, Susan Braden and Alan Bozeman for traveling to Evergreen and sharing their knowledge and experience with us.

A special thank you also goes to the Evergreen-Conecuh Chamber of Commerce ( chamber) for sponsoring lunch and supporting this opportunity for our nonprofit community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. We hope the ideas shared, relationships formed and conversations started yesterday continue long after the training.
