Help Build Evergreen’s First Indoor Sports Facility!

With 250+ Evergreen Pickleball Club (EPC) members and increasing demand, the need for dedicated, indoor pickleball courts has never been greater.

But it’s not just Pickleballers who will benefit—Evergreen currently lacks an Indoor Sports Facility for teams to practice during the offseason or bad weather. Right now, local teams are forced to travel down the hill or fall behind competitors due to delayed or canceled practices.

Exciting News! Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) is planning a new Field House at Buchanan Park, featuring:
🔹 Two dedicated indoor pickleball courts
🔹 10,000 sq. ft. of multi-use space for basketball, volleyball & more

Let’s Enhance It to Better Serve Our Community!

EPC has set a $450,000 fundraising goal to add:
✔️ TWO additional pickleball courts
✔️ Enhanced multi-sport features for field sports
✔️ Better lighting & upgraded facilities
✔️ Roll-up wall system for fresh air

We’re calling on:

Exciting News for EPC Members!

With sighs of relief and hopeful hearts, the EPC Board of Directors has scheduled six tournaments for 2025 at its Jan. 7 meeting! No more waiting for courts to be finished, no more scrambling for alternate locations, and no more cancellations due to uncertainty.

EPC Tournament Director Mick Pearce has confirmed reservations for the Marshdale courts for all six tournaments - four on Saturday mornings and two on Fridays. We hope this schedule allows more members, including those who work weekdays, to participate!

Here’s what’s in store:

📍 Round Robin – Saturday, June 7 (Players grouped by skill level)
📍 Dinkeroo – Friday, June 27 (For lovers of the soft game—yes, we voted on the spelling!)
📍 Geezer Games – Friday, July 11 (70+ only—no young whippersnappers allowed!)
📍 Mixed Doubles – Saturday, July 19 (A fascinating study in teamwork and relationships)
📍 Men’s Doubles – Saturday, Aug. 9 (Men, don’t cancel last minute this time!)
📍 Women’s Doubles – Saturday, Sept. 6 (Highly competitive and tons of fun!)

💰 Cost: $30 per player (covers court rental & other expenses)
📌 Must be an EPC member to participate
📝 Registration opens ~2 weeks before each event
