Charm & Strange is shutting down on June 30th.
So...what's next?
WildLight is the next chapter of Charm & Strange — a creative community focused on supporting q***r youth through art, connection, nourishment, and belonging.
We believe every young person deserves a place where they can exist safely, express themselves freely, and be surrounded by people who see their value. WildLight is being built as that kind of space: warm, creative, affirming, and community-centered.
Through free recreation spaces, shared meals, creative workshops, mutual support, and community events, WildLight aims to help young people feel less alone and more empowered to show up as themselves.
By initiating a sliding fee scale for adults and businesses to use the space outside of youth hours, we aim to meet the community where it's at so we can all support our local youth and each other as best we can.
We will continue using Charm & Strange social media accounts to share information, including ways to get involved, support the project, and grow alongside us.
