ChildStrive

ChildStrive ChildStrive provides a continuum of supports for parents from pregnancy to preschool in Snohomish and North King Counties. Support ChildStrive while you shop!

We help children and families thrive by supporting parents in the challenging job of parenting. Whether their challenges are due to having a child with a disability or delay, or are due to family challenges like homelessness, parents want to do their best for their children. We help them know their children well, know their own strengths, enjoy their children, and support their optimum development. Choose us as your charity of choice at Fred Meyer and on Amazon.

Sarah and Michael’s son, Ethan thrived with help from ChildStrive’s Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers program. Looking back, they realize the greatest gift ChildStrive gave them wasn’t simply support through feeding and speech challenges. It was the confidence to believe in their son’s abilities and the tools to help him navigate whatever comes next.

Hear more of their story in our summer newsletter: https://childstrive.org/summer-2026-e-news.

As summer fades into fall, life begins to change. School starts, schedules shift, and familiar rhythms give way to new ones. While these transitions can sometimes feel overwhelming for young children (and grown-ups!), they also offer wonderful opportunities to build connection, confidence, and security.

One of the best ways to help children navigate change is through simple, predictable routines. A special goodbye ritual, reading the same bedtime book, or taking a walk after dinner can become comforting anchors in an otherwise changing season.

Get some more ideas for a routine your family can try and learn more about why it matters in our Summer newsletter: childstrive.org/summer-2026-e-news.
