We’re excited to announce the recipient of the $10k Ricky Klausmeyer-Garcia Radical Hospitality and Inclusivity Award: Recovery Cafe Everett!

This award honors Café communities in the Recovery Café Network (RCN) that embody inclusivity and hospitality.

Ricky was a beloved member of the RCN team who exemplified what it means to be a friend to all and an advocate for those who don’t have anyone in their corner. Ricky led by example and made many invaluable contributions that helped make the Recovery Café what it is today. Congratulations to for their inspiring creativity and commitment in helping Members feel welcomed and loved!

The Network is looking for an Emerging Member Manager to join our team, and support new groups who are in the early stages of launching their local Recovery Café. If you’re passionate about supporting people in recovery and helping build safe, supportive, healing communities, this role is for you.

The ideal candidate will have experience with implementing the Recovery Café Model and/or other types of social services, a strong understanding of the nonprofit sector, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
