Started in 2002 by a small band of bike enthusiasts, Sharing Wheels remains committed to promoting bikes as transportation and recreation for all ages. You can use our tools for free to fix your own bike, or volunteer to help us refurbish kid and adult bikes for our programs and bike sales.

Thanks to our volunteers and supporters for coming out to our annual Supporters Party this past weekend. It was great to catch up with everyone outside the shop and to hear from our Executive Director, Andy. A thank you goes out to Drew & Becky for hosting for another year!! They always throw a great party. 🥳

Hi, Sharing Wheels family! It’s been a busy summer and we’re cruising through refurbishing bikes for people to buy and to provide to those in need, and we find ourselves burning through a lot of rags.

We could really use rags right now, so if you have old sheets, towels, and t-shirts (cotton only please) laying around that you're willing to part with, please drop them off at the shop during our open hours. Thank you!! 😊

We want to give a biiiiiiiiiiiig thank you to Kristen! Yesterday marked her last official day on staff at Sharing Wheels. As our Youth Program Manager, Kristen built our Youth Bike Club from the ground up. Her incredible attention to detail, stellar organizational skills, and deft touch in mentoring both our staff and the North Middle School students have been absolutely invaluable.

While she’s stepping down from her staff role, Kristen isn't going far—she will continue to be a familiar face at our events as a volunteer. We are so grateful for everything she has given to our community, and for the contributions she’ll continue to make.

Thank you for everything, Kristen!! 💙🚲
