Occupy Everett, located in Everett, Washington, believes that the path to creating a better tomorrow for future generations begins with creating a safe environment where individuals and groups can freely engage in open and meaningful communication. Modeled on Occupy Wall Street and the world-wide Occupy movement, Occupy Everett seeks to bring people together to express a feeling of mass injustice,

to assert our power, to exercise our right to peaceably assemble and to occupy public space, to create a process to address the problems we face, and to generate solutions accessible to everyone. The Occupy Movement, including Occupy Everett, is about changing the conversation and bringing the voices of the people directly to Wall Street and to the government. Instead, we are uniting a people to insist on representation in our own government. We believe that what the vast majority of the people want and need should matter in a democracy.
