This letter was send out to our Everett Public School Family to help our colleague and friend, but we’ve been asked by many community members to share this…please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions!!
So many of you have had to opportunity to have had Chrissy Agosto (Lyons) be part of your lives or be an amazing g teacher to your children. Please consider helping her in her time of need.
On Thursday, April 4th, Chrissy Agosto was dealt the hardest blow of her life when her son Franko suddenly passed away.
If you know Chrissy, you know her two passions in life are her son and “her kids.” For the past thirty plus years, Chrissy has been an elementary school teacher with the Everett Public Schools, teaching at the Hamilton, Webster, English, Whittier and Keverian Schools. For decades, she has touched the lives of thousands of children. When you leave your children for six hours a day, you want to be sure that person is kind and loving. Nobody epitomizes those traits more than Ms. Lyons or Mrs. Agosto (whatever you know her as) Chrissy is the perfect balance between loving, professional and the most engaging teacher. She loves “her kids” for who they are and is their biggest cheerleader in encouraging their growth. She has the knack for noticing which of her students may not have the best home life or maybe just need a little extra love and attention and is sure to take special care of them when they are with her. That’s the Chrissy Agosto way…..She is an excellent teacher, but it goes way beyond academics. She teaches her students love and kindness. To say her students are her life, is an understatement.
This unexpected and tragic loss brings with it the added financial burden of the cost of funeral expenses and other monetary issues. We would like to help Chrissy during this very difficult time.
Chrissy is always the first one to help, be it her students, family, or colleagues. Let’s rally together and help Chrissy, the way she’s helped so many others!
While nothing can ever take away the pain of losing Franko, let’s help her in her time of need and shower her with every bit of our love.
Please consider contributing if you can. No amount is too small.
